On September 26, 2016 Assembly Bill 2246, addressing suicide prevention, was signed into law. AB2246 requires California school districts to provide suicide awareness education, among other supports and interventions.
In an effort to continue to promote the wellness and social-emotional support of our students, Duncan is happy to share with you various mental health topics and resources that parents/caregivers may find helpful in supporting their/your child.

The Loss of a loved one can have a significant impact on your child. Please inform our office if your child has experienced a recent loss and you would like for your child to be connected to the School Social Worker for support.
